The Coach of the Indomitable Lions has made public a list of 24 players ahead of the double AFCON 2022 qualifier fixtures against the mambas of Mozambique.

Antonio Conceiçao made public the list of three goal keepers, eight defenders, five midfielders and eight attackers during a press conference on Tuesday November 3, 2020 at the FECAFOOT head quarters in Tsinga Yaounde.

He used the press rendez-vous to explain to the journalists and media professionals present his method of working and the reasons for his choice of players.

“The National team is open to all players… We are studying all players and their call ups do not depend on ages but competence and readiness to defend the national colours…” the lions trainer said

The head of the team’smedical staff has also appealed to fans of the lions to respect physical distance with players as measures are being taken to ensure that the players are in good health before the fixtures especially with the COVID-19 pandemic.
