Road to CHAN 2020: Lions to play two preparatory games in Douala
The Intermediate Lions Coach has announced two evaluation games for his side on Cameroon’s economic capital city Douala. Martin Ndtoungou Mpile made the announcement as he gave his men a two day Christmas break.
The Intermediate Lions will play against Stade Renard of Melong on Sunday Decembet 27 at the much heralded state of the arts Japoma stadium in Douala and Union movement Sportive UMS of loum the following day at the renovated reunification stadium in Bepanda.
According to the gaffer, his team is finalising preprations and will need to face good clubs and test the fields to host their possible games during the African Nations Championship CHAN schedulled for early next year.
Martin Ndtoungou Mpile’s contingent dismantled Apejes of Mfou in a 6-1 goal feast on Wednesday December 23, 2020 at the CAF excellence center in Mbankomo. It is the first time since team Cameroon began preparations that they have scored more than three times in a single match.
The team returns to Yaounde from Douala on Tuesday December 29, 2020 ahead of a pre-CHAN four nations tournament to begin on January 1, 2021.
