#LionsA’ – The Intermediate Lions of Cameroon today trained once at the Yaounde military stadium. Before the start the coach Rigobert Song congratulated two players Frank Pangop and Alphonse Tientcheu who have been selected for the senior national team. For Coach Song “it is a show of confidence from the coach of the senior team, but know that it comes with lots of challenges”. The former Lions’ captain created awareness in them as per their responsibility towards the local players saying “it’s only your performance that will prove that something good can come from the local championship and it will open the way for others”. Training later continued with 25 players present after 7 left yesterday for Douala where they’ll be engaged this Sunday in semi final games of the Cup of Cameroon. This saturday the team will play a warm up game against Centre Regional second division side Fauves Azur of Yaounde. The match will begin at 4pm at the military stadium.
