Intermediate Lions scheduled for two weekend friendlies

The Intermediate Lions have lined up two evaluation friendly matches for the weekend as the team intensifies preparations ahead of April’s showdown during the African Nations championship CHAN.

Yves Clement Arroga lead trainer of the lions disclosed that his boys will face AS Fortuna and APEJES of Mfou in two friendlies at the CAF excellence center in Mbankomo Yaounde on Saturday March 14 and Sunday 15 respectively.

The trainer and his collaborators say the friendlies will permit them make an evaluation of the team particularly in the areas they have been focusing on during the on going fifth training camp which opened on Monday March 9, 2020 in Yaounde.

The friendlies and others programmed in the days ahead with the possibility of an international friendly, will also provide enough justification for the final list of players to be retained for the CHAN expected in less than a forthright.

The Team has been working on the athletic fitness of the players as well as their technical and tactical abilities in two daily training sessions.

The two weekend friendlies will add up to ten, the total number played already with Yves Clement Arroga’s group yet to be beaten.
