“We are there to select only the best” Coach Yves Clement at the end of first preselection camp

The Coach of the Intermediate Lions has described the first phase preselection training camp for players into the intermediate lions as satisfactory. Talking to fecafoot.officiel at the end of the two weeks training camp on December 1, 2019 in Yaounde, Yves Clement Arroga said in general the training camp was good.

“It was generally positive. From what we had, we were able to know the individual competences of everyone and so we know who will continue and who will return to their club. I encouraged those who will go back to their clubs to continue working hard because depending on their engagement they can come back for the third or the fourth preselection training camp. For us we are there to select only the best because only the best will be retained.” The trainer said

The coach has also indicated that he will be making public the list of the next set of players soonest for the second preselection camp that will begin from the 9th of December, 2019. According to the coach, this will allow him and his collaborators to continue following up the well-defined plan which they have put in place to get the best to represent the country.

Louis Enjoamei Mbah offensive midfielder from PWD Bamenda and Jimmy Njonkam Central defender from Buea United have expressed satisfaction with the training camp as they nursed hopes of featuring in the final list to represent the country during the African Nations Championship CHAN Cameroon 2020.
