CHAN 2020 draws: “We are ready to face any opponent” Coach Yves Clement Arroga

Intermediate Lions lead trainer, Yves Clement Arroga has reiterated his team’s readiness to face any opponent during the Africa Nations Championship, CHAN 2020 in Cameroon. Arroga spoke to fecafoot-officiel.com in Kintele Republic of Congo on Monday February 17, 2020 shortly after the draw for the competition.

“We have to go to play our games like any other because we are ready to face any opponent. We are working extremely hard to achieve the objective of our project which is to be at the finals and to win. We are ready and we are working hard to have maximum potentials to win this CHAN.” Coach Yves Clement Arroga said

He had earlier organised his entire team to watch the draw with him by the pool of their Elonda resort residential facility.

The team was fully focused and watched the entire draw process keenly. They will rise to the number one rallying song of the nation! The National Anthem, then seat back in silence to follow the address of the President of the Local Organising Committee LOC who doubles as Minster for Sports and Physical Education Prof Narcisse Muelle Kombi and the draw. The players spontaneously and simultaneously cheered their heros like Tataw Stephen, Rigobert Song, Samuel Etoo, Solomon Olembe and others as they appeared on the giant screen.

As the opponents were announced from first to second and then third, everyone looked calmed and unmoved by either Zimbabwe, Mali or Burkina Faso as if to insinuate that they are all within reach.

Yves Clement Arroga and his battle ready “soldiers” will open their campaign on the 4th of April, 2020 in Yaounde against Zimbabwe.
