Cameroon draws with Rwanda in Pulsating friendly
Both Cameroon and Rwanda failed to score against each other in their international friendly on Monday February 24, in Yaounde.
The match which was characterised by tireless running, close pressing and brilliant ball control being part of preparations by the sides for the African Nations Championship CHAN that ended goalless did not how however disappoint each other.
While Cameroon coach Yves Clement Arroga regretted the failure of his side to score adding that he had taken a lot of lessons away from the friendly fixture, Rwanda gaffer Vicent Mashami expressed satisfaction with his team stating that with just one week of training together recording a draw against “a big football nation like Cameroon is not a bad result.”
Cameroon and Rwanda will continue preparations with different groupings of local players before the CHAN begins in April in Cameroon.
