The world Football governing body FIFA has made public the list of ten football players nominated for the FIFA Puskas Award. Amongst the ten candidates is Cameroon’s national female team forward Ajara Nchout Njoya. She has been nominated for her goal with the indomitable lionesses during the June 20 2019 Women World Cup match against New Zealand.
The Puskas is awarded to a player of either sex for scoring the most aesthetical or most beautiful goal during the year. Ajara will contest the award alongside Lionel Messi, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Matheus Chunha and others.
