Lionesses to face Netherlands in a do or die match today
Cameroon’s indomitable lionesses will in the hours ahead play Netherlands in a must win game in order to hope to move to round 16 of the ongoing FIFA women’s world cup in France.
The match is slated for 2pm Cameroon time at the stade HAINAUT in Valenciennes.
It will be the lionesses’ second appearance in the competition after they conceded 1 goal from Canada in their first encounter.
In a press conference held Friday June 14, 2019 in Valenciennes, Coach Alain Djeumfa and forward Gaelle Enganamouit reassured the Cameroonian public and other fans that they will correct the wrongs of the first encounter and win the game that will trace their path toward entering round 16.
The lionesses will benefit from the unconditional presence and support of the second best African player of all times, Cameroonian born Samuel Eto’o, already in Valenciennes to light up the flame of the lion’s fighting spirit, Cameroon’s brand name.
The outcome of the match will determine the fate of the lionesses in the competition.
