2019 WWC: Lionesses trash Murcia 8-0 in friendly

Cameroon’s National football lionesses have trashed Real Murcia club 8 goals to nil in their third friendly match played this evening at the Pinatar Arena Sport Centre in Spain.

The match played as part of preparations ahead of the 2019 Women’s world cup in France was a rather comfortable one for the lionesses, given that they recorded 8 goals at consecutive intervals.

Michaela Obama, striker who plays at Paris FC, France and who is at her first selection scored three goals, 24’, 34’ and 60’.

Another striker Nchout Njoya Ajara, scored a goal at the 30’. Raissa Feudjio, midfielder scored a goal at the 43’. The 6th goal was net in by Niño Abena at the 70’. Another midfielder, Marlyse Ngo Ndoumbouck inscribed the 7th goal at the 75’.

The last goal was scored by Akaba Edoa Michelle at the 90’.

This was the lionesses third friendly played since they got to Spain last May 15, 2019, for the last phase of their preparations ahead of the World cup that begins in exactly 10days in France

There, they will face Canada, New Zealand and Netherlands in group E.
