The Intermediate Lions will on November 9 and 12 play against the Sharks of Djibouti in Yaounde. The matches which fall within preparations for the African Nations Championship CHAN 2020 will be played at the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium.

The Intermediate Lions under Coach Martin Ndtoungou Mpile have been training in camp at the CAF excellence center in Mbankomo.

The gaffer and his collaborators who will be playing the first international friendly with the lions believe the fixture will help them continue the search for the right players needed to solve the football made in Africa equation during the competition to be played early next year on home soil.

Coach Martin Ndtoungou’s team recently beat Canon of Yaounde 2-1 and pulled a 1-1 draw with Futuru Kings of Mongomo.

Second deputy trainer David Pagou told the press after the friendly against Futuru Kings that some work has been done and in terms of depth, they are begining to get good results.
