Raissa Feudjio Tchuanyo, maestro of Cameroon’s midfield
Nicknamed Iniesta by football lovers due to her professional techniques in giving decisive passes and building Cameroon’s midfield, Raissa Feudjio to some is one of the best midfielder when it comes to women’s football in Africa and the world.
Raissa Feudjio, born Raissa Feudjio Tchuanyo on October 29, 1995 in Yaounde is a Cameroonian football midfielder, currently playing for Tenerife, Spain.
Raissa Feudjio makes her debut in Cameroon’s Division I Lorema FC of Yaounde. In 2009, she joins Avenir FC in Division II.
She reportedly goes back to Lorema in 2010 before joining Turkey with Trabzon İdmanocağı in 2013.
She later on leaves Turkey for Finland where she signs for Merilappi United. She is currently playing for Tenerife in Spain.
Rraissa Feudjio played the 2012 African Championship and Olympic games with Cameroon. She was equally part of the squad that defended the green red yellow in 2014, 2016, and 2018 female AFCONs.
She is amongst the 23 lionesses shortlisted to take part in this year’s Women World cup that begins on June 7, in France.
