CHAN 2020 Quarter-finals: Intermediate Lions Coach Mpile at work

The head Coach of the Intermediate Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, Martin Ndtoungou Mpile, says he is currently at work with his collaborators finalising the strategy needed to solve the Democratic Republic of Congo equation in Douala come Saturday January 30, 2021 in a quarter-final fixture of the Total African Nations Championship, CHAN 2020.

Martin Ndtoungou Mpile was speaking on Wednesday January 27, 2021 as the Cameroon team trained for the second time in Douala. The visibly serene trainer indicated that they have been working on every compartment that showed weakness during their group games.

With due respect for his opponents, Coach Mpile is positive noting that his contigent is apt enough to go pass the Intermediate Leopards.

The exclusion of left-back Serge Andoulou for the rest of the competition as a result of a knee injury suffered during the third group game against Burkina Faso is worrying but the coach is calm.

“We are worried about it but there are substitutes. So we will work with the subsititutes.” The gaffer said
He has requested Cameroonians to stand by their team till the last minute of the game.
