The president of the Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT, says it is an honour to play the opening match of the 2021 edition of the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
“The most important thing is that it’s important we will be playing the opening match of the competition”
“The 12 teams are good. Whatever the group that we are in, it will be difficult for all the teams. Our team is honestly prepared to defend our country”, Seidou Mbombo Njoya said.
The U-20 lions were drawn in Group A and will play against host nation, Mauritania in the opening match of the competition.
President Seidou Mbombo Njoya said despite the fact that they are playing the opening match, it is left for them to confirm their status in the field.
