Intermediate Lions: Zock and Ngah out

Midfield powerhouse Zock a Bep Christian and goal merchant Ronald Ngah have been ruled out of the African Nations Championship following injuries picked up in the team's pre-competition camp. Guy Zock who had earlier suffered a setback due to a hamstring injury sustained saw his ankle torn after a duel in the game against Rwanda in Rubavu last Wednesday. He will be replaced in the team by Cosmos of Bafia's Mfede Junior who was part of the training period at the CAF Centre for Excellence in Mbankomo. Ngah Ronald on his part failed to emerge fully from the hamstring injury sustained in a warm up game against APEJES of Mount at the Fecafoot training centre in Odza last December. His out-of-form output in the game against Rwanda and slight thigh pains triggered z the decision to send him home. Mahamat Harouna of Panthere Security of Garoua was given a beckon to feature for country in the Pan African bonanza for local players. TPO
