The Lionesses fine-tuning their strategy ahead of the crucial Japan- Cameroon
The Lionesses had their last training session at Wolfson West ground with the Coach Enow Ngachu fine-tuning his strategy ahead of the crucial Japan- Cameroon game set for this evening, June 12 at the BC Place in Vancouver. FECAFOOT Normalisation Committee President, Prof. Joseph Owona and Sports Minister Adoum Garoua were present at the training ground to galvanize the players. It should be retained that the Minister appreciated the team for the 6-0 victory against Ecuador and for their patriotism. He said by the Victory, “You have caught the tail of the animal but have to grab the neck to be sure they have the game”. Meaning the players should win the second game to be sure of their qualification for the next round. He urged the team to hold on to their usual fighting spirit, win the game reassuring that government would provide the necessary support. After the training it was the turn of the Coach Enow Ngachu and his staff to motivate the players during their traditional match eve meeting. Later in the evening under the supervision of the Director of Communication and Marketing, FECAFOOT, Laurence Fotso, FECAFOOT organized a meeting with Cameroonians in Vancouver to drum support for the team.
